I truly believe I was blessed to hear the angels sing when I was flying back from Guatemala from a mission trip in 2002. It was an answer to a prayer to hear the angels sing due to many professions of faith on our trip. It was a medical mission trip that brought many to Christ with a a simple graphic depiction of the wall of sin separating God and man. Many,often including multi-generations from the same family, prayed to receive Christ. I truly believe I heard amazing, angelic😂 voices singing like no voices I had ever heard before. This song is closest to those voices, even more beautiful and amazing because I can sing this song, also.

This is one of my favorite songs from my days as a choir member. My voice won't allow me to sing it anymore, but in my heart I can still sing it at the top of my lungs, with a huge smile that radiates the joy and majesty of His name and many glorious attributes!

I had the privilege of singing this with our church in Texas over 30 years ago. It has carried me so many times over the years. The last night before we moved to California to folliw the Lord's leading I stood oitside the choir room listening in tears as they practiced this oiece for yet another performance. We had no idea what was facing us in California but we knew with absolute assurance Who was calling us t9 serve Him here. It has been a journey but one with tremendous blessings and continual peace knowing He is always with us. God's love and faithfulness to His children is truly amazing. We are blessed beyond measure.

As soon as this video began to play I recognized it as my favorite piece from a tape I had years ago. It has been a long time since I have heard it and I am so very glad to hear it again. Thanks to UA-cam for including it in the miraculous playlist that I came across this morning. I really needed all the hymns that I have been listening and crying to for the last hour. Thank you, Lord, for reaching out to me through the music that is able to get through to my very bruised heart as nothing else does!

This song had the hard part but i think i can do the high note part i was soprano and while and me and my choir members practicing i just lost my brain while singing it but i think im knowing the song

I've performed this (tenor part) with a pretty decent little church choir, it's a very moving piece. Our choir director would also pick it up at 3:59 and use that as a choral benediction on occasion. I really loved that.

This is so beautiful. I have loved it for many years but it makes me sad because the Lord gave us dominion over the earth but we have wrecked it. Please can we listen to the words & make the Lord proud that he put us in charge of our world.
